Donate to the Farm Project

On the way to being a self-sustainable school, Juanita School students each what is grown on the Juanita School farm instead of buying food from the market. We are currently growing corn (maize), beans, spinach, kale, tomatoes, cabbages, and other fruits and vegetables.

We also have some farm animals on the school compound which will be used as a source of eggs, milk or meat. We currently have 87 chicken with a goal of having 200 by September. We also have 8 rabbits with a goal of 200 by September.

Use the donation box to help support the Juanita School Farm Project as we approach self-sustainability from the plants and animals in the farm. For only $10, we can buy one chicken to add to the farm. With $20, we can buy a pair of breeding rabbits for the school’s meat supply. For $50, we can buy one goat. For $110, we can buy 10 hens and one rooster for the chicken farm.

All funds donated here will go toward the farm project to help bring Juanita School closer to self-sustainability.
