Donate to the Boarding Furniture Project

We want to provide Juanita School’s students with a safe and secure place to board as they continue to learn. As more students join Juanita School, we will need dormitory furniture like beds, mattresses and bedding for them as they stay in the school’s hostels. It only costs $10 for 1 pillow and 2 pillow cases for our students. The students’ bunk beds are made right on the school grounds and it costs $150 to make one set$20 enables us to buy 1 set of bed sheets for our students. We will also need some new desks as we are expecting around 25 new students to arrive on August 3rd. Here is the break down of the required items as the new students arrive at Juanita School.

  1. Bunk beds: 10 more bunk beds will be required. At $150 each x 10 = $1500
  2. Desks: At $50 each x for 25 students = $1250
  3. Chairs: At $20 each x for 25 students = $500
  4. Mattresses: At $40 each x 25 students = $1000
  5. Pillows: At $10 each x 25 students = $250
  6. Bed covers: At $20 each x 25 students = $500
  7. Uniform: At $70 each x 25 students = $1750
  8. Textbooks: At $10 each x 25 students x 12 subjects = $3000
  9. Notebooks: At $2 each x 25 students x 12 subjects = $600
  10. Food : For 45 total students x $1 per students per day x 100 days in a semester = $4500
  11. Cups/spoons/plates: At $3 x 25 students= $75
