This past week, on the 25th of February 2020, together with two pastors and a camera crew, one of our board members, George Hutchings, visited Juanita School from St. Louis Missouri. George’s team were greeted with much celebration at Juanita School as this day marked the official Juanita School Grand Opening Celebration in honor of opening the school on January 14th 2020.
It was a day of immense celebrations as the students entertained our guests with poems, song and dance. The two pastors who accompanied George also shared the word of God during this time. It was then time to feast as lots of food had been prepared including two goats.
With the St. Louis team, the Gibbs family, other guests, teachers, and the students all there, it was a day to celebrate and give thanks to God for the opening of Juanita School.

After the event, the St. Louis team met with Jacinta, the executive director of Juanita School to discuss the current progress of the school as well as the way forward as we expect more students to join starting next semester.
